Scope of Work

Overview

We are looking for a DCS Instrument Engineer with strong experience in control systems engineering and hands-on involvement in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. The role will support engineering and project teams in the design, integration, and implementation of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for industrial process facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review DCS system design and architecture for project requirements.
  • Prepare and review instrumentation and control documentation, including:
  • Instrument datasheets
  • I/O lists
  • Cause & effect diagrams
  • Control narratives
  • Functional design specifications (FDS)
  • Configure and support Distributed Control System (DCS) implementation.
  • Coordinate with OEM vendors and system integrators for control system packages.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
  • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at site.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry practices.


Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering.
  • Proven experience with DCS systems engineering and configuration.
  • Hands-on involvement in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Experience working with control system OEMs or manufacturers is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of process control, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems.
  • Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and vendors.
