Job Title: Manufacturing Inspector – Pressure Equipment (Oil & Gas)
Location: Qingdao, China
Contract Type: Temporary rotational assignment
Engagement Periods:
- From May 6 to July 10
- From August 21 to September 25
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Fabrication Inspector to oversee the production of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring of manufacturing activities to ensure all work is performed according to quality standards, contractual specifications, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect manufacturing procedures and equipment to ensure compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Work closely with the project management team and onsite technicians to discuss manufacturing issues and propose solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and prepare detailed reports on progress and any issues encountered.
- Liaise with Third Party inspectors for coordination and information sharing.
- Manage technical documentation and certifications required for pressure equipment.
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards such as ASME, API, etc.
