Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review installation engineering procedures, method statements, and rigging plans
- Support transportation and installation (T&I) scope for subsea structures, jackets, topsides, risers, and associated marine spread
- Coordinate closely with project engineering, procurement, marine ops, and construction teams
- Provide engineering input for offshore execution, including vessel readiness, load-out, and offshore campaign planning
- Contribute to interface management with fabrication yards, marine contractors, and subcontractors
- Ensure all installation work complies with international codes, client specs, and project HSE standards
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Offshore, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5–10 years’ experience in offshore installation or marine engineering within oil & gas projects
- Hands-on background in EPCI environments, focused on installation planning and execution
- Familiar with method statements, lift analysis, seafastening, and offshore load-out procedures
- Strong report writing, AutoCAD / 3D model review, and interface coordination experience
- Proven track record supporting major offshore installation scopes
Mandatory Requirements
- Direct experience with international EPC contractors (e.g., McDermott, Subsea7, Saipem, TechnipFMC)
- Solid exposure to offshore installation methodology – SURF, jackets, topsides, mooring, pipelines, etc.
- Capable of working within multi-discipline international project teams under fast-paced EPCI schedules
