Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all construction activities related to FPSO RLEC (Rejuvenation, Life Extension & Conversion) works
- Ensure structural modifications, tank refurbishments, and life-extension scopes are executed per standards and schedule
- Coordinate with EPC contractors and fabrication yards to ensure integration of new systems onto aging hulls
- Monitor mechanical, electrical, and marine upgrade works during the conversion process
- Review plans for hull strengthening, module integration, coatings/renewals, and fireproofing upgrades
- Support interface between hull refurbishment teams, topsides modules, and commissioning workstreams
- Track fabrication progress, NCRs, and construction readiness for sail-away
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Offshore Engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in offshore oil & gas construction, with at least 2 FPSO RLEC or conversion projects
- Deep knowledge of FPSO life extension techniques, hull repair practices, and aging asset management
- Familiar with offshore asset class rules, marine certifications, and structural retrofit standards
- Strong leadership and stakeholder alignment across yards, vendors, EPC, and classification bodies
Preferred
- Prior experience with Malaysian redevelopment FPSO projects
- Familiarity with ABS/DNV offshore classification during conversion
- Understanding of tank inspections, structural repair methods, and life-extension planning
