Role Overview
The Piping Engineer will lead offshore piping design and engineering activities for marine and offshore systems, ensuring constructability, operability, and compliance within tight offshore layouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop piping engineering deliverables for offshore and marine systems
- Lead offshore piping routing, layout philosophy, and design basis development
- Support brownfield modifications and tie-ins on FPSO facilities
- Coordinate closely with pipe stress, structural, and E&I disciplines
- Review vendor packages and offshore equipment interfaces
- Ensure compliance with offshore standards and project specifications
- Support technical reviews and multidisciplinary coordination
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven offshore FPSO piping engineering experience
- Strong understanding of offshore routing constraints and constructability
- Experience in brownfield modifications is preferred
- Greenfield EPC-only background is not suitable
