Responsibilities:
• Perform Pipe Stress Analysis using CAESAR-II software and prepare pipe stress report.
• Pipe support drawing review and development.
• Preparation of pipe Stress specification.
• Perform Site visit to identify pipe routing possibilities and able to identify solution for site problems.
• Preparation of calculations relating to piping designs such as pipe loading, pipe thickness, branch
reinforcement etc.
• Assist in Plot Plan and Line List development.
• Review all piping design deliverables.
• Preparation of methodologies, schedules and piping material take-off exercise.
• Technical evaluation of Piping Material from suppliers and vendors.
• Preparation of studies for plot plans options, piping routing and alternative piping arrangements.
• Determining and co-ordinating interfaces, tie-ins, liaison with client, site personnel and other
engineering disciplines to facilitate design activities.
• Reviewing and checking of documentation, ensuring deliverables are produced on time and within job
constraints.
• Achieving schedule and producing a quality product, meeting or exceeding project expectations.
• Answering queries, supporting construction team, resolving construction issues and field clashes.
Requirement:
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6 to 10 year of work experience preferably in basic and detail engineering
• Conversant with international design codes and standards
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Simulation Software such as CAESAR II, Pipenet & other related Piping
Software design tools.
• Experience in plant construction line related to QA & QC, authority submissions and review of drawings
and related documentation with registered Professional Engineering (IR.) Certification will be
encouraged to apply.
• Experience in 3D model review and commenting using Navisworks software.
• Able to communicate with inter-discipline & client and represent the company.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
