Project: Kaminho Project – Hull Conversion Activities
Job Purpose:
EPC Contractor is seeking a Hull Structural Field Lead Engineer to join their field team in Nantong for the hull conversion activities at the CMHI yard. The role will serve as a critical interface between the yard, engineering, and construction teams to address structural construction issues, respond to technical queries (TQ), and liaise with Contractor in France for complex technical challenges that cannot be resolved locally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee structural engineering activities related to the hull conversion at the CMHI yard.
• Interface with the yard, engineering, and construction teams to resolve on-site construction issues.
• Manage and respond to TQs in coordination with Saipem France, escalating significant technical concerns.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to on-site teams.
• Participate in a familiarization phase with the design team in France prior to the start of the project.
Requirements:
• Experience: Senior engineer with extensive experience in hull structure design, conversion, and field engineering activities.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and autonomous decision-making.
• Familiarization Period: Candidates must be available to spend some weeks in France before commencing work in China to get acquainted with the design and the team.
Terms and Conditions:
• Status: Single status.
• Annual Leave: 51 working days per year.
• Working Days: 6 days per week.
• Accommodation: Provided in kind.
• Transportation (Accommodation – Yard – Accommodation): Managed by the company.
• Ticketing: 6 round-trip tickets per year.
• Living Allowance: Included in the package.

Work Mode:
• On-site, full-time role in Nantong, China, with a preliminary familiarization phase in France.
