1) Job Purpose/ Role Specifications
To provide strategic leadership and technical direction in the end-to-end planning, development, and execution of Regasification Terminal (RGT) projects, with a strong focus on Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU)-based infrastructure. The role is accountable for driving project excellence across all phases — from FEED through to commissioning and start-up — while leading cross-functional teams, managing key stakeholders, and ensuring delivery in line with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
2) Principal Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of RGT projects (FSRU-based), covering FEED, EPC, commissioning, and start-up, ensuring alignment with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Provide technical leadership on FSRU operations and integration, managing interfaces with onshore facilities (jetty, pipeline, utilities), including chartering, conversion, or new build activities in line with regulatory standards.
- Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and vendors, while engaging regulators, authorities, and stakeholders; drive technical and commercial discussions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee project governance including budget, schedule, and risk management; identify and mitigate risks and report progress to senior management.
- Review and approve key engineering deliverables (e.g. P&IDs, HAZOP), ensuring effective integration with pipeline and gas distribution systems, and support commissioning and performance testing.
- Drive strong HSE culture across all project activities, ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
3) Critical Experience
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in oil & gas, with strong exposure to LNG and RGT projects, including at least 5 years in a senior project leadership or management role.
- Proven track record in FSRU projects (mandatory), including FSRU conversion or new build projects, chartering and commercial arrangements, and integration with onshore regasification terminals.
- Hands-on experience in at least 1–2 full RGT project lifecycles (FEED to commissioning).
- Experience managing EPC contracts and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams, including setting direction, developing team capability, and driving accountability for results.
- Strong track record in project management across multiple workstreams, with proven ability to deliver high-value projects within schedule and budget constraints.
4) Technical Competencies

5) Education Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Marine, or related discipline).
- Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
