Scope of work

Job Summary: To coordinate the effective implementation of Management System policies and procedures in the company to comply with Quality System, HSE, ABAC and other applicable governance requirements defined by the company, parent company, clients, government agencies and other relevant interested parties Qualification: • Degree in Engineering recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia. • Must be registered with BEM. • At least 15 years in Oil & Gas industry with 10 years as Project QA engineer/Manager for design engineering and EPCC projects. • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and work processes in Oil & Gas industry.• Experienced in implementing and maintaining QMS and/or EMS in Oil & Gas industry. • Familiar with requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 will be an added advantage. • Must have undergone Internal Quality Audit and Lead Auditor Training for ISO9001. • IRCA IRCA-certified lead auditor is an added advantage. • Green Book preferred (for HSE Secretary position). • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. • Good report writing skills. Responsibilities: • To act as the Management Representative for Quality and HSE both internally and externally. • To implement, maintain and continuously improve the company’s Management System ensuring certification to the latest ISO 9001 and other appropriate Quality Standards as required by the Management. • To coordinate the following QHSE activities as part of maintenance and improvement to the company’s Management System: i. Management Review of the Quality and HSE Management System of the company including presentation to Management Committee and generation of the Management Reports. ii. Quality and HSE awareness programs across the Company and all projects. iii. Effective audit and surveillance program throughout the company including other interested parties where applicable. iv. Maintain an effective HSE program meeting the requirements defined by the company and other interested parties. v. Maintain an effective Management System Documentation throughout the Company. vi. Coordinate the review and compilation of the Company’s KPI System.vii. Chairing of Operational Improvement Meetings (OIM) and coordination of Management Committee Meetings (MCM) viii. Coordinate and lead the company’s improvement initiatives (examples: Employee Suggestion Scheme (ESS), Lessons Learnt implementation and Digitalization Programs). ix. Effective management of risks and opportunities relating to QHSE.x. To be the Project Quality and HSE Lead to meet clients’ requirements. xi. To ensure that the Project Quality System established for projects is in line with the company’s Management System and clients requirements.
