Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cost Engineer for an offshore project based in Brunei Darussalam. This 5-year role offers the opportunity to manage and control project costs, ensuring effective budgeting and financial planning for a major offshore development.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates during the bid phase of the offshore project.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they remain within the allocated budget.
- Develop and implement cost control procedures to manage project expenditures.
- Provide cost forecasting and financial planning throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in cost tracking and reporting.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project cost reports and financial documentation.
- Identify cost-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure cost management processes adhere to client requirements and project objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and project control software/tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and clients.
- Willingness to be based in Brunei Darussalam for the project duration.
- Previous offshore or EPC project experience.
