Job Summary:
The HOD - Process Engineer will lead the Process Engineering Department, ensuring the successful delivery of offshore FEED projects. The role focuses on resource management, technical excellence, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives while adhering to company standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Process Engineering team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage resources effectively to deliver project milestones.
- Promote technical development and knowledge sharing within the department.
- Lead process engineering activities for offshore FEED projects, ensuring technical compliance and quality.
- Oversee development of process simulations, P&IDs, HAZOP, and other key deliverables.
- Ensure alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and project specifications.
- Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects.
- Monitor team performance and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Act as the primary interface between the Process Engineering team and clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise during project proposals.
- Ensure all deliverables meet internal QA/QC processes and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years in process engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the oil & gas industry.
- Extensive experience in offshore FEED projects, resource management, and project execution.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
- Proficiency in P&ID development, process optimization, and HAZOP studies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Tools & Software: Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, PDS, or similar tools.
