Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine Engineer specializing in Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing marine engineering aspects related to FLNG projects, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of FLNG vessels.

· Manage technical aspects of marine systems, topside process utilities, ballasting, cargo handling, mooring system, offloading operation systems, safety systems etc.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

· Provide technical expertise and guidance during project development, execution, and operational phases.

· Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to marine operations and systems.

· Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize vessel performance and reliability.

· Support procurement activities by providing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

· Proven experience (12 years) in marine engineering with a focus on FLNG projects.

· In-depth knowledge of FLNG vessel design, construction, and operational processes.

· Strong understanding of marine systems, including propulsion, ballasting, and cargo handling.

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements and classification society rules applicable to FLNG.

· Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Leadership experience in leading technical teams and managing stakeholders. 

· Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.

· Experience with major FLNG projects from conception through to operations.

· Familiarity with software tools for marine engineering design and analysis.

Additional Information:

· This position may require occasional travel to project sites, fabrication yards, and offshore locations.
