Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Onshore) with more than 7 years of experience, including offshore and design expertise, to lead and execute an onshore/brownfield gas development project in South Sumatra, Indonesia. This long-term role, starting in January 2025, will be directly contracted with the end client.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations.
- Interface with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee engineering design activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Monitor and control project progress, resolving technical and operational challenges.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Lead risk assessments and mitigation planning for the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues related to brownfield integration and onshore gas development.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and standards throughout the project.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- More than 7 years of experience in project engineering, including offshore and design experience.
- Proven track record in onshore and brownfield gas development projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to work on-site in South Sumatra and commit to a long-term project environment.
