Location: Offshore – Jackup Rig

Role Overview
You’ll take full charge of marine operations on a jack-up rig, including jacking, anchoring, and rig positioning. You’ll lead safety protocols, ensure compliance with maritime laws (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL), and serve as the designated lead for marine emergency response.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead jacking ops, rig moves, anchoring, and marine support
- Monitor tides, weather, sea conditions for safe ops
- Oversee tugboats, tow masters, and other marine coordination
- Ensure accurate preloading and leg penetration data
- Conduct marine drills and inspections (lifeboats, firefighting, etc.)
- Oversee deck and marine crew (cranes, winches, lifeboats)
- Maintain rig ops logs, jacking and ballast records, and marine certifications
- Handle loading/unloading of materials and equipment
- Coordinate deck space and vessel ops
- Ensure rig compliance with local maritime and international standards
Requirements
- Certifications: Valid STCW, BOSIET with CA-EBS, Petronas & Marine Medical, Basic H2S OPITO
- Mandatory: MODU Master Certified
- Minimum 10 years’ marine experience, preferably offshore
- Strong understanding of rig operation manuals and marine systems
- Skilled in marine ops software (ballast, weather, rig positioning)
- Valid HUET/BOSIET and offshore medical
