Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to manage and oversee ICSS engineering deliverables for a major FLNG project. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the ICSS system, adhering to strict technical standards, project schedules, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ICSS engineering deliverables from contractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and HSSE requirements.
- Evaluate technical bids for ICSS packages, ensuring vendor alignment with project needs.
- Participate in crucial meetings with contractors and suppliers to facilitate timely and accurate document provision.
- Oversee ICSS engineering and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) to ensure functions meet specifications.
- Develop solutions to complex technical/engineering problems and implement preventive actions.
- Provide essential technical/engineering support during Construction, Commissioning, and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), including troubleshooting.
- Contribute to safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL), review reports, and ensure compliance with safety recommendations.
- Develop Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) and manage the selection of SIS components.
- Ensure seamless communication and compliance with quality standards across all parties.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ICSS engineering within the oil & gas sector (especially for Master's degree holders).
- Profound familiarity with PCS, SIS, GDS, and FDG functionalities.
- Experience with Electrical Motor Control Centre and Vendor Unit Control Panel interfacing with ICSS.
- Proven ability to interpret P&IDs for control-related information.
- Strong understanding of safety systems and process control system interfaces.
