Role Overview
We are looking for a Piping Engineer to support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and close-out activities for offshore facilities. This role is execution-focused, supporting system readiness, testing, and handover to operations within a defined campaign timeline.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Commissioning / Mechanical Completion
- Perform line checks, system walkdowns, and punch listing (A/B/C)
- Verify P&IDs, isometrics, and as-built alignment against installed systems
- Ensure mechanical completion dossiers (MCD) are complete and accurate
- Coordinate with QA/QC on test packs and system boundaries
Commissioning Support
- Support hydrotesting, flushing, leak testing, reinstatement activities
- Assist in system energisation and pressurisation readiness
- Work closely with commissioning team for system acceptance and turnover
CSR / Handover
- Ensure proper system handover to operations (RFSU / RFO stage)
- Close out punch items within timeline
- Support documentation completion including redlines, as-builts, dossiers
Offshore Coordination
- Interface with construction, commissioning, operations, and HSE teams offshore
- Ensure work is executed safely and aligned with offshore constraints
Requirements
- Minimum 12+ years’ experience in oil & gas
- Strong involvement in pre-commissioning / commissioning / hook-up / brownfield works
- Proven offshore experience (platform / FPSO) — hands-on role, not office-based
- Familiar with system-based completion (SCM), MC dossiers, punch listing
- Experience with ASME, API piping standards
- Must be offshore-ready (BOSIET + medical valid)
