Job Scope
We are looking for an experienced Midstream Planning Lead to lead planning coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation and commissioning teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation and commissioning teams.
- Monitor project progress, perform schedule analysis and identify delays or deviations from the baseline plan.
- Monitor critical path activities and propose mitigation measures to maintain project timelines.
- Identify schedule risks and work with relevant teams to develop contingency plans.
- Review and challenge contractor schedules to ensure accuracy, completeness and contractual compliance.
- Prepare regular schedule updates, progress reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of planners to ensure planning deliverables are consistent and reliable.
- Work closely with cost, risk and contract teams to support integrated project performance monitoring.
- Support schedule risk management and contribute to mitigation and contingency planning.
- Review contractor daily, weekly and monthly reports and provide comments where required.
- Maintain accurate records of schedule changes, updates and approvals.
- Recommend improvements to planning and execution protocols where necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in project planning and scheduling within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of completing at least two full project lifecycles in onshore EPC projects.
- Strong experience leading and managing planning teams on large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of planning, project controls and risk management processes.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional project teams.
Language Requirements
- English.
- Bahasa Indonesia or Malay.
- Mandarin would be an added advantage.
