KEY ACTIVITIES
- Pre-Job preparation of equipment and installation procedures
- Competent engineer, working as an individual or as part of an installation crew.
- Installation of products in line with company procedures
- Ensure project management objectives are met
- Assist in the planning of installation activities to ensure installation success.
- Aid in the preparation of supporting documentation for all aspects of surface equipment including Operation Manuals, Hook-up Drawings, System Diagrams, Installation & Commissioning Procedures, Work packages, Configuration Records, End of Well reports etc
- Maintain the Project Folders and all supporting documentation
- Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades for installations.
- Always adhere to company and clients HSE requirements and local legislation and actively participate in promoting a safe working environment
INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment.
- To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments.
- To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company’s Quality or HSE Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: High School Diploma/Secondary Education in engineering, electronics or applicable operating experience. Minimum 5-year relevant industry experience. Proven track record.
Preferred: Petroleum / Mechanical/ Chemical / Civil Engineering Degree or relevant industry experience
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Must possess relevant experience in onshore/offshore support operations in a supervisory capacity.
- Onshore/Offshore experience in upper/ lower completions; sandscreens, inflow control, zonal isolation, packer and liner hangers
- Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of rig systems, drilling & production operations and a full understanding of down-hole hydraulics.
- Must have proven technical problem-solving ability
- Demonstrate a strong ability under pressure to meet client delivery expectations.
- Must be able to use the right information and/or systems and/or technology, and be able to identify and implement improvements as appropriate.
- Current health/medical certificate
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel.
Preferred:
- Oilfield Reservoir Monitoring & Data Acquisition Systems, fibre optical experience
- Electronic downhole gauge experience. Downhole electronic tool experience (deploying or assembling) E.g. memory tools or electric line logging tools
- Current BOSIET and MIST or local equivalent
