Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10 to 15 years of experience in managing onshore and brownfield gas development projects. The ideal candidate should have a background in offshore and design experience. This role will oversee the successful execution of an onshore gas development project located in South Sumatra, Indonesia, set to begin in January 2025. The contract is a direct engagement with our end client, and the project is expected to be long-term, with details on the contract duration to be confirmed shortly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the onshore/brownfield gas development project from inception to completion.
- Oversee all aspects of the project, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure project milestones are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of all project components.
- Monitor and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring the effective allocation of resources and skills.
- Regularly report project status, including progress, challenges, and resolutions, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and procurement processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of project activities and decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of project management experience, with a strong background in onshore/brownfield gas development projects.
- Proven experience in offshore projects and design phases, with a deep understanding of project lifecycles.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and working with stakeholders across different functions.
- Familiarity with HSE regulations and ensuring compliance throughout the project.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in South Sumatra, Indonesia, for the project duration.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
