Qualification and knowledge

• Experience in destructive testing including DWTT’s.

• Fully conversant with DNV-ST-F101 requirements and relevant general international standards

(e.g. ISO, ASME, ASTM, EN etc.)

• Experience witnessing Plate Mill activities; including casting, rolling, marking etc.

General Inspection duties description

Inspector shall in general be responsible for monitoring performance of both contractor and sub-contractor

and Quality Control matters. Main tasks include:

• Witnessing Supplier/Contractor activities ensuring the proper implementation of the approved

Inspection & test plans and relevant QC Procedures.

• Highlighting any non-conforming material or activity for Supplier/Contractor to issue the relevant

report and corrective action

• Reviewing Inspection Test Records upon completion of test and inspections ensuring

their timely issuing by Supplier/Contractor to prevent backlogs.

Specific Plate Mill duties

Mill surveillance ensuring activities are carried out in line with technical specification – ITP/ MPS and other

project specific procedures where applicable.

• Witness reheating of casting

• Witness slab reheating, drop out, final rolling, final cooling, monitor cooling rate.

• Witness Plate Marking.

• Check NDT technician certificates, Witness AUT verifications and follow up MUT and check

European/American Personnel:

• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive teamwork attitude are paramount.

Project introduction:

The project is located in Songon County, west of Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire. The total investment of the project is 629.37 million euros, of which 517.33 million euros is for the power plant and 112.04 million euros is for the transmission and transformation lines. The power plant will be developed under the BOOT model, with a construction period of 36 months and a concession period of 35 years. The annual power generation after completion is expected to be 2800 GWh. The transmission and transformation lines will be developed under the BT model, with a construction period of 18 months. The project company will complete the construction and financing on behalf of the government of Côte d'Ivoire, and transfer the facilities to the government after completion.

Job Scopes:

• Develop, maintain, optimize, and report project schedules for the CCGT.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering, procurement and construction teams to stay the project progress achieved up to date and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Interact with the parties, such as EPC conpower island equipment OEM, major suppliers, engineering and construction sub-cons for their progress of work.
• Coordinate with other project stakeholders such as the project owner, or TNB, Petronas for their inputs for project schedule updating.
• Facilitate regular meetings with the project owner and the owner’s engineer to stay them updated on the project progress and address their comments on the project schedule.

1.     Subsea well head operation involves well opening, well closing and monitoring DHPT as pert he requirements and logging data for well performance studies.

2.     Make Regular Checks of well heads, Separator, Instrument Air Kit and all measuring units to ensure that they are functioning properly as per the standard operating procedures.

3.     Report all instrument and equipment defects and leaks immediately to my senior engineer and take necessary action.

4.     To take reading from the Separator, well head, Gas injection online, Mainline and water injection line.

5.     In well testing each and every hour a variety of readings such as oil and gas flowtemperatureandpressureandrecordunusualoccurrencethenreportingat my senior engineer.

6.     Start, check and stop diesel generators and pumps according to the instructions. Open or close the water injection distribution and gas lift manifolds on the satellite which process platform to the well head platform.

7.     Assist in isolating – draining, Purging and handing over equipments for maintenance on inspection and check the equipment for correct operating when the maintenance job is completed.

8.     Make the routine weekly run test of equipments like emergency diesel generator, diesel and electrical fire pumps. With the guidance of senior,
