Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in project scheduling/control.
Proven track record of successfully managing schedules for large EPC projects, preferably within power or energy sectors.
Strong expertise in utilizing Primavera P6.
Overall understanding of project management principles.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong team working spirit and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in MS Office.
Being able to handle multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
Being able to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
Job Scopes:
Develop, maintain, optimize, and report project schedules for the CCGT.
Collaborate with project management and engineering, procurement and construction teams to stay the project progress achieved up to date and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Interact with the parties, such as EPC conpower island equipment OEM, major suppliers, engineering and construction sub-cons for their progress of work.
Coordinate with other project stakeholders such as the project owner, or TNB, Petronas for their inputs for project schedule updating.
Facilitate regular meetings with the project owner and the owner’s engineer to stay them updated on the project progress and address their comments on the project schedule.
Analyze project progress and performance data to identify trends and suggest corrective actions.
Identify schedule risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential scheduling issues.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior schedulers and support staff.
