GAINED SIGNIFICANTLY ON THE FOLLOWING DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTIONS; ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION: • Prepare concept design, scope of works, specification and load calculation of transformer, substation, switchgear, switchboard, telephone & electrical rooms, fire and life safety and ELV system. • Review and approval of electrical and low voltage system design concept/schematic, design contract, shop drawings, cost and budget proposal, extra low voltage design, power load calculation, lighting design, lux level calculation, single line diagram and floor plans. • Oversee site/project supervision, inspection and implementation. • Strict implementation and compliance of local and international standard, codes and regulations. • Local Authorities (DEWA, DM, DU, Etisalat, Civil Defense, JAFZA) statutory compliance, direct interactions, meetings, coordination, inspection, approvals and completion certificates. • Company's Representative to government authorities, client's and owner side, contractors, suppliers/ vendors, site Engineering team for meetings, progress reports, updates, negotiations and approvals. • Prepares regular reports, updates and project status to the Management. • Management of site team staff of electricians, technicians, MEP coordinator/Officers, Engineers & CAD • Review contract drawings & budget, variation orders and propose cost savings and value engineering. • Manage the approval of Permit To Work, Works Inspection Request, Materials Inspection Request, Factory Acceptance Test, authority inspection, testing & commissioning, completion certificate, handover and warranty. • Review and approval of shop drawings, materials submittal, project quality plan, method statement, inspection & test plan, MEP coordination drawings, block works & slab opening drawings and O&M manual. • Evaluate and recommend invoices and monthly progress billings. • Strict adherence and implementation of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policies & procedures. • Coordination with QA/QC department for improvement and resolution for any QMS issues. • Coordination to other trades for resolution of any clashing and conflicts.
