With over 30 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, fabrication, and construction industries, I have honed my expertise in electrical design engineering, working across Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design, and EPC projects. Currently serving as a Lead/Senior Electrical Designer at RNZ Integrated (M) Sdn Bhd (Petrofac Malaysia), I have successfully led and coordinated electrical design work for onshore and offshore facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
My key strengths include:
Strong leadership – managing teams of drafters and 3D modelers to meet project schedules.
Comprehensive technical expertise – specializing in lighting, power, earthing, cable routing, single-line diagrams, hazardous area classification, and equipment layout.
Hands-on experience – in offshore platforms, refineries, petrochemical plants, and power systems.
Software proficiency – skilled in AutoCAD, PDMS, and Microsoft Office tools for design and documentation.
A track record of delivering results – successfully contributed to major projects for Petronas, Shell, Sapura, and international oil & gas companies.

I had to leave Petrofac due to a company-wide downsizing initiative that impacted multiple roles, including mine. While I highly valued my time there and contributed to key projects, the restructuring led me to seek new opportunities where I could continue applying my expertise in electrical design.
