Lead, planned & managed on Telecommunication Systems such as Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Radar, Video Surveillance (RVS), Digital Trunked Radio System (DTRS), Public Address General Alarm (PAGA), Fiber Optic Network (FON), Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT),Outdoor Telephone (OTL), Hotline Telephone (HTL), Global Clock System (GCS), Weather, Monitoring System (WMS) including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning (EPCIC), Reactive Maintenance (REM) & Preventive Maintenance (PPM) base on a deep understanding of The PETRONAS Technical Standard (PTS) standardized technical practice for design, engineering operations and maintenance to ensure technical integrity and safety of plant assets in PETRONAS Group. ✔ Accumulated 14 years of experience in Telecommunication Oil and Gas industry mostly related to offshore platforms as well as onshore refinery and petrochemical plants. He also possesses hands-on experience in projects with specific involvement in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning (EPCIC). ✔ Lead, planned & managed on Telecommunication Systems such as VSAT, CCTV, RVS, DTRS, PAGA, FON, OTL, HTL, VHF, GCS, WMS System Management & Technical issues including Special project (EPCIC), Reactive Maintenance (REM) & Preventive Maintenance (PPM). ✔ Establish contract review criteria, identify, and resolve discrepancies and divergences from the original proposal through the instigation of technical queries to projects/client. ✔ Review / Approval of EPCIC Contractor’s Engineering and Vendor documents under in compliance with Contract, Petronas Technical Standards (PTS), International codes and Standards with budgeted man-hour and project schedules. ✔ Review / Approval of Technical Document Register (TDR) as per Contract requirements, Design basis, Project specifications, Data sheets, Inquiry requisitions in line with scope of work. ✔ Participate in the technical evaluation of vendor bid offers. Direct and provide guidance in the Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE). ✔ Provide inputs for the preparation of plot plans; organize the issuance of engineering drawings and technical documents and coordinate with other engineering disciplines in the integration of data inputs. ✔ Review of architecture drawings such as, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Block Diagrams, Equipment Layouts, Cable Routing Layouts, and other relevant documents. ✔ Manage in preparation of Purchase Requisitions for the procurement of Telecommunication equipment and packages. Review the vendor equipment’s compatibility and compliance with the scope of client specifications. Coordinate with procurement, ascertain expedite of materials and equipment to site. ✔ Participate in Risk Assessment, EMOC & Design review meeting with the client and representatives of other engineering disciplines. ✔ Liaise effectively with End User, Client, Contractor and Vendor to adhere compliance with the Contractual obligations and ensure smooth Project completion. ✔ Review / Approval of vendor design calculations, drawings, and other documents to ensure the compliance with client equipment specifications and are within budgeted man-hours. ✔ Interface and regularly meet with client and vendor representatives, conduct internal staff meetings, ensure the progress of the project in accordance with the schedule, allotted man hours and budgeted costs. Coordinate projects and planning departments on schedule related issues. ✔ Interface and provide clarification and guidance and technical support to construction sites and commissioning engineers, provide start-up assistance as required. ✔ Manage and familiar in using the SAP HANA & SAP MDG i.e Material and Service number creation and other work process related to maintenance activities. ✔ To ensure Operating Expenditure (OPEX) is within the budget & Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) project as per costing. ✔ To ensure the Telecommunication equipment reliability and availability for by performing a good maintenance activity as per scheduled and proactive maintenance. ✔ Interact with HSE, Quality Assurance for quality issues, review, and approval of ITP; strictly ensure compliance with Company’s ISO Quality procedures. ✔ Coordinate Internal and Client audit requests; facilitate audit procedures of engineering systems within the department. ✔ Perform departmental duties as and when directed by Direct Supervisor. Supervise and develop Graduate Engineers and other engineers/Technician as Assigned by the Department. Work on Development Standards/Data Sheets/Other Tools to improve productivity. ✔ Manage and improve Telecommunication Team capability by organizing and scheduling training related to the Maintenance Strategy and Plan such as Equipment Task List and Equipment Checklist for executive and non-executive.
