Mohd Firdaus Bin Ab Rahman has been working in the Oil & Gas Industry since 2007, with over 18 years of experience. He started as a Draughtsman, Bocad Operator (3D modeler), Bocad Admin, Designer (PDMS/E3D), and currently serves as a Senior Designer (PDMS/E3D). As a senior structural designer with extensive professional experience, he designs, develops, and reviews structural plans for offshore platform topsides and substructures (jackets), civil infrastructure, buildings, and other projects to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with codes. He is responsible for creating and reviewing detailed structural drawings, 3D models, and other design deliverables. He ensures that all designs comply with project specifications, company standards, and relevant international codes and regulations. He plans and completes activities within agreed-upon timeframes and ensures that design intent is understood and conflicts are resolved. He checks finished work to ensure that the final product meets high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability. Besides being assigned as a Senior Designer, he was also designated as the Lead Designer for several projects. These projects include concept studies for the MFP Petronas Project, FEED for Late Life Booster Compressor, FEED for Petronas Glayzer Project, Detail Design for Vietnam PTSC Project, and EPCM for Rembus Hidrogent Project (Petros/Sarawak Metro).
