Forward looking, project-oriented engineer and manager with over 30 years design, analysis and work management/coordination experience mainly in the offshore oil and gas industry. Began as a structural engineering analyst out of university and moved up into hands-on lead positions both in engineering operations and projects. Acquired specialized knowledge of offshore oil and gas production facilities design and construction and gained both US and international experience along the way. Familiar with both owner and contractor interests so present-day assignments include Owner’s Engineer and EPC Contractor PMT member. Services can also include design/audit/peer review services as required. Have been intermittently an independent consultant and contract employee since 2008. Along the way, have worked on approximately 50 projects and 20 tenders of various durations and produced over 1000 report, drawing, and specification deliverables of varying scope. A particular current interest is advancing structural design work forward in project schedules. Ready to take on new challenges, even outside the traditional offshore construction industry.
