I am a metallurgical engineer with over 10 years of expertise in failure analysis, corrosion management, material selection according to ISO 21457/NORSOKM-001/NACE MR0175/ISO 15156, participate in HAZOP studies, Risk-based inspection (API-580), ECE software (estimation of corrosion rates and the selection of materials for oil and gas production systems and processing facilities), fitness for service (DNV RP-F101, API 579, ASME B31G), pigging activities, ILI inspection, in-service welding, and hot tapping processes. Presently, I hold the position of materials and corrosion engineer at the Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO), which is an offshore oil company. This role not only underscores my proficiency in metallurgical engineering but also highlights my commitment to delivering excellence in challenging offshore environments. I hold MSc and PhD degrees in metallurgical engineering.
