As a Mechanical Engineer at RYMS Corporation Sdn Bhd, I was in charge of leading a medium-sized project. I was charged with the responsibility of planning and managing projects from conception to commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, analyze and troubleshoot systems and equipment
• Executed 2D & 3D drawings using Solidworks
• Read repair manuals and liaise with other professionals
• Conducted Research and Development (R&D), run tests and designed simulation kit for SCADA system and liaise with other professionals before commissioning
• Write up technical reports and standard operating procedures (SOP) such as maintenance, installation and research

Successful Projects:

• Managed a digital transformation project to eliminate 80% of handwritten manual reporting; developed SCADA system using Advantech software, preparing plant layout, prepared 2D wiring schematic diagram, and designing brackets
• Planned, programmed and installed Omron Safety Light Curtain (SLC) at JFE's blanking machine
• Reduced trapezoid Run-out conveyor belt repair costs by 85% by advising the best way to reuse the existing belt instead of purchasing a new belt
• Coordinated with the Project Manager to install the brush roll at G-Line Proton Shah Alam
• Created Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) template for brush roll replacement at G-Line Proton Shah Alam·
