Wen Ni Y.

Good day, I am Yong Wen Ni, who is currently working as a Project Engineer at Seagull Cooling Technologies (Asia Pacific) Sdn. Bhd.. Previously, I am still work as a process system engineering researcher in UTM for at least 4 years. I have also completed my PHD viva in UTM, KL last July and graduated with a first class honours Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Chemical Engineering at UCSI University.

I worked as an industrial trainee in Top Glove Sdn. Bhd. in 2018 during my first Coop placement. From there, I have gained lots of experiences working in an industrial environment. Meanwhile, for my second Coop placement, I was then working as an intern in SynergenOG Sdn. Bhd.. This company is an engineering and consultancy company which allowed me to learn process safety and technical risk management for the oil and gas industry.

My love of the chemical engineering field increased at university because with advances in modern technology, it can open a vast range of opportunities. I always make sure that the efforts that I have put on studies have constantly maintained my reputation every semester. I have developed most of the professional skills learnt in my studies and try my best to complete my PhD. For my PhD journey, I would like to explore more knowledge other than my current scope. I believe that I will be able to gain the rare experiences required for my future in the engineering field after conducting experiments in your organization, as well as the useful skills and knowledge.
