I am a Mechanical Engineer with approximate 30 years of overall project experience where for the last 25

years were in construction / fabrication quality control and assurance (QA/QC) for power, petrochemical

and oil & gas industry with added advantage in RBI/ asset integrity exposures. Latest contract was for

Petronas Project Quality (PQ) division as a Manager base at Petronas KLCC’s head quarter, Kuala Lumpur,

Malaysia (Sep 2018- Aug 2024) and being tasked to champion the Project Quality Surveillance program for

both upstream and downstream projects quality team besides representing the division for project internal

review, 1st line project QMS audit, consultation to project management team on project quality performance

and RCA as well as quality representative to various QMS development and improvement.

Tertiary qualification includes Degree in Mechanical Engineering, besides few others professional

proficiency. These include registered CSWIP 3.2.2 Senior Welding Inspector with R.I (as well as Eng.Tech

by Eng.Council UK and Diploma of International Welding Inspector by IIW) since 2006 and previously

qualified as ASME code Boiler and Pressure vessel Authorized Inspector as well as registered IRCA

QMS2000 ISO9000 Lead Auditor. Most recent training and certification is on Well Drill String inspection

certification according to BV-THHill DS-1 Standard beside API 5CT/ API 7G as part of my continuous career

development and my interest in details and field execution work. Besides, I am also currently pursuing the

American Society of Quality (ASQ) CMQ/OE certification as evidence to my passion in Quality field.

Most of the experience were for international organization namely Foster Wheeler, Alstom, KBR, Brunei

SHELL, JGC and Atwood Oceanic until 2015 where I had joined Petronas for its LNG2 Regasification

Terminal project followed by promotion to Petronas head quarter under the Group Project Delivery. All the

positions are under various quality control or inspection related roles, working in multinational organization

be it in the project management office, construction yard or live plant/offshore platform. Over the years, I

have made myself a versatile quality practitioner, either as an inspector, coordinator, engineer, or manager

where I am often became focal point for quality and integrity matters or troubleshoots. Considered as

project-oriented personnel, self-starter and focus team member or leader where attention to detail and

applying practical approach are among of my qualities. As of to date, all the undertaken contract posts were

successfully delivered /commissioned to the project expectation.

Able to work independently or interdependent base on the Quality/ Inspection strategy. Prefers onshore

base work although able to make scheduled offshore visit. Experience in coordination work of several

vendors, manufacturers, and offsite facilities. Experience to lead subordinates while guide and collaborate.
