·      Led projects as brownfield Offshore Project Manager, Deputy Construction Manager, Site Manager, and Marine Superintendent for FPSO hull repairs, conversions, and topside integration. 

·      Technical & Operational Management: Extensive hands-on experience in vessel inspections, condition assessments, and maintenance planning, ensuring operational readiness and minimizing downtime. Familiar with contracts and charters to assess critical systems' operational conditions.

·      Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Expertise in ISM implementation, internal audits, and preparing vessels for surveys and external audits. Led initiatives to ensure alignment with evolving marine legislation and industry standards.

Operations & Offshore

Have extensive experience in conducting FPSO marine equipment performance testing, hull integrity assessments, arrival preparations, mooring, and first oil operations. My expertise includes overseeing the startup and ensuring the operational readiness of FPSOs.

I have led the planning, development of operational procedures, and execution of key activities such as mooring, riser pull-in, first oil production, bunkering, and offloading.  

The operational procedures and safety practices established during these initial phases of operations have been continued and sustained over the subsequent eight years of continuous operations.

Participated in the pre-operations team for new hull construction in Japan and integration at a Singapore shipyard. Led hull acceptance sea trials, hull and marine integrity tests, and class acceptance, ensuring readiness for sailing to the Singapore integration yard. Oversaw the startup of all marine equipment, from final loop testing to cold operation checks. Played a key role in the FPSO pre-acceptance process for all marine systems by Petrobras.

Managed the operations and testing of marine equipment, including pumps and pipelines, during the transit.

EPCI , Shipyards

My expertise includes directing complex flare tower repairs and converting voids to ballast tanks on an operational FPSO without shutdown as offshore project manager.

In shipyard environments, have coordinated engineering and construction processes to meet hull strengthening requirements for topsides and integrated riser and mooring support structures as deputy construction & integration manager.

As site manager and deputy construction & integration manager have ensured seamless alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction, mitigated risks, and maintained high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.

Notably, I led VLCC conversions, overseeing tank cleaning, gas freeing, dry docking, hull repairs, and conversion, as well as towage operations, while collaborating with engineering teams to optimize marine system selection.

I have actively participated in lesson learnt to bring forward good practices and design upgrades to future projects.

Office

FPSO - Have been part of project management team, marine schedule planning, identifying reducing dependencies, identifying major construction that can executed in a parallel process increasing float, reducing risks.

Have  participated in the discussions of optimisation of marine hull spaces, pump room, engine room for top sides and marine deck equipment spaces and other marine engineering opas.

Brownfield project on operating FPSO - Developed a comprehensive project plan and process for hot work, structural repairs, and converting void tanks to ballast tanks in adjacent spaces containing heated products at 55°C, ensuring compliance with national labor heat stress regulations without plant shutdown. Created detailed timelines and budgets, assembled the project team, facilitated team building. Prepared SIMOPS dossier in accordance with TOTAL's requirements to commence major activities and led project execution, effectively managing risks and controlling costs to achieve successful completion within budget as project manager.

I am looking forward to assisting during feed, contracts, analysing best suited marine deliverables & optimizing budget as per requirements, help plan the schedule, w.b.s. and identify schedule dependencies to deliver marine completion prior integration.

Be at site during schedule phase closures, commissioning & equipment performance tests, attend FATs and preparation of all marine equipment to be operational and ready prior vessel moving to final location.

Be offshore during start-up, develop and explain all operational procedures to ensure safe operations and backup offshore as required.
