Having 26 years of experience in various phases of floater facilities’ and fix platform’s Engineering Procurement Construction Installation and Commissioning (EPCIC) contract which covering Project Initialization, Proposal Development, Conceptual/FEED/Detail engineering, Construction, Inspection, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Pre-Operation and others in Project Management of which 5 years were spent in Design/Production and 21 years in Oil and Gas industry.
Used to work with JX Nippon Oil & Exploration (M) Ltd as Production Sharing Contractor (PSC) for SK-10 Block, Petronas Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM - as the Upstream Regulator), Petronas Floating LNG for 1st FLNG in the world, Technip Malaysia, MISC Offshore Business and KNM for process equipment manufacturer as Head Hull and Marine, Resource Manager, Interface Manager, Project Manager, Topside/Marine/Mechanical/Piping Manager and Head of Project Planning respectively.
The core competences/skills are in Project Regulatory Work, Design, Construction and Commissioning of FPU (FLNG, FPSO, FSO, MOPU, WHP), Construction of Dynamic Positioning Vessel - DP2 Modular Capture Vessel (MCV), Process Static Equipment (Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchanger), Marine/Mechanical/ Piping Work, Project Management and Welding Technology.
Other key areas of expertise including interfacing with Classification Society on Classification/Statutory/Certification, interfacing with Malaysia Regulatory Department (MMD, MCMC, RMC, DOE, SIRIM etc.), Planning/Costing and Project Scoping/Contract.
Successfully delivered 14 numbers of Floater and 8 numbers of WHP/CPPs - 5 numbers of FSO, 4 numbers of FPSO, 2 numbers of MOPU, 2 numbers of MCV (FPSO), one number of FLNG, 7 numbers of WHP and one number of CPP project.
Well experienced with several reputable shipyards/fabrication yards – Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant Co Ltd (WMMP, China), Qingdao Haixi Heavy-Duty Machinery Co Ltd (HMMC, China), RichTech (Shanghai, China), Cosco Offshore (Qidong), HuaRun Dadong Dockyard (HRDD), Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME, Korea), Samsung Heavy Engineering (SHI, Korea), Drydock World-Dubai (DDW-D, UAE), Keppel Shipyard Singapore (KSL), Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE), Sapura Kencana KHL, Tabung Haji Heavy Engineering (THHE) and KNM fabrication yard – Melaka/Gebeng/Shah Alam.
Currently working with T7Global Berhad to lead the Bayan Redevelopment Project Gas Phase 2 for Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) new building in WMMP/HHMC, Qingdao, China. Full Performance Test Run is scheduled by Jan 2022.
