More than twenty-three (23) years of experience in project execution of engineering works in offshore oil and gas platforms and onshore plant i.e. (Topsides – CPP & Wellhead, Living Quarters, FPSO and Module of FPSO/FSO as well as onshore refinery and petrochemical plant). Hands-on experience in EPCC projects especially involvement in detail design engineering, techno-commercial meetings, material take-off, technical bid evaluations, site supervision, monitoring, fabrication, installation and testing & commissioning of the electrical systems, and also Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of 275kV Electrical Distribution Network.

Previously, responsible and accountable as a Lead/Senior Engineer – Electrical to initiate, plan, execute, controlling/monitoring and closing of the specific Electrical Task & Activities to achieve a considerable technical competency and quality design control and output.

Experienced as an Engineering Coordinator & assistant PEM in coordinating and monitoring overall engineering activities, interfacing and progress. Be a focal point of engineering in any communication and interfacing with others i.e Client, PMT, Procurement etc.

Ensuring the following key engineering activities being performed diligently as per procedure within the section i.e. Material Take-Off (MTO), Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), Vendor Data Review (VDR), Interface Check, Vendor Data Incorporation (VDI), Inter Disciplinary Check (IDC), Shop Drawing, Fabrication Drawing, Termination Drawing, shiploose list, weight control report (WCR), As-built drawing, Final Documentation etc. 

Familiar with technical bid evaluations (TBE) of the following electrical packages and materials; Solar Powered System, Portable Diesel Generator, CCVT (Closed Cycle Vapor Turbo-generator), MV Switchgear, LV Switchboard, MCC,AC/DC Switchrack, Power Transformer, Busduct, IMCS, PMS, AC/DC UPS, Nav-Aids, Frequency Converter, Radar Beacon, Distribution boards, Heat Tracing, Power/Control Cables, Umbilical/Subsea Cable, Cable ladders and Trays, Junction boxes, Lighting fixtures, Cable glands, Multi cable transit and other electrical/instrument bulk materials.

Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals (e.g., electrical theory and practice, modern electrical equipment, power distribution, control systems, UPS Sizing, Cable sizing, illumination design, etc.) in order to perform various job-functions (e.g., fabrication design, construction support, design review, commissioning support and etc.).

Comprehensive knowledge of terminology, various codes, safety orders, rules, laws, regulations, departmental policies and procedures, governing the design and installation of electrical (e.g., lighting, power, control wiring, substation, low voltage, high voltage, etc.) to provide design review, construction support, fabrication design, etc.

General knowledge of structural engineering, piping engineering, mechanical engineering, instrument/telecom engineering and architectural elements as related to buildings to properly coordinate electrical aspects as it relates to multi-discipline design work.

Involved in bidding/tender of received ITB for new project which includes reviewed scope of work, checked ITB deliverables, raised TC and prepared bid MTO. Basic knowledge of cost estimates for electrical engineering aspects (e.g., lighting, power, control wiring, substation, low voltage, high voltage, etc.) to provide cost effective design work in preparation of plans and specifications.

Familiar & practice the following electrical relevant standards including IEC, PTS, DEP, ICAO, CAP, IALA, MPDS, CSP, NEC, IEEE, MITS etc. In compliance with Engineering Procedure, Project Specific Procedure and HSE requirement during project execution.
