I am a Hull & Marine Engineer with offshore EPCI experience supporting the conversion of a Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) into a Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) for PETRONAS Carigali. My experience covers offshore hull and marine engineering, including marine transportation assessments, vessel stability analysis, load line verification, bollard pull calculations, towing studies, hydrodynamic response analysis, and structural integrity assessments for offshore operations. I have performed finite element analysis using ANSYS Mechanical/APDL and hydrodynamic analysis using ANSYS AQWA to evaluate structural behaviour under operational and environmental loading conditions, including wind, wave, and current effects.
I have experience preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables such as structural calculations, fabrication drawings, IFC drawings, GA drawings, P&IDs, piping isometrics, MTOs, technical reports, and engineering specifications, while ensuring compliance with industry standards including API RP 2A, ASME B31.3, ABS Rules, Bureau Veritas NR534, SOLAS, IMO MODU Code, and PETRONAS Technical Standards (PTS). I have also supported technical coordination with classification societies, Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), clients, shipyards, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
With practical exposure to offshore drilling assets, marine operations, structural engineering, and project execution, I am interested in contributing to challenging offshore energy projects while continuing to develop my expertise in drilling, wells, offshore construction, and marine engineering.
