Fahmi is a highly motivated person with more than 5 years of experience as a Geologist and Research Assistant in oil and gas industries. His focus was on using data-driven approaches to improve exploration and production processes.

He specialized in interpreting complex datasets related to subsurface formations, reservoir characterization, and well log analysis. He developed proficiency in using software tools like Petrel, Dionisos, Python, and GIS, which He utilized to build predictive models and visualize spatial data. His master’s focused on a project involving process-based numerical modeling to understand the stratigraphic evolution, sequence architecture, lithology prediction, facies prediction, and reservoir delineation case study in mixed siliciclastic and carbonate system and intrashelf basin in Saudi Arabia. His role required in-depth collaboration with geoscientists and engineers to ensure data accuracy and to uncover insights critical to decision-making processes.

He is currently engaged in a project with Pertamina Hulu Rokan in the Duri Field, Central Sumatra Basin, Indonesia, focusing on studying low-quality reservoirs, developing static models, and proposing infill drilling area and reservoir prospects.

His advanced skill level of modeling: Petrel (seismic interpretation, well correlation, property modeling, etc), Pyton, ArcGIS (surface mapping) and process-based modeling simulation: Dionisos software.
