Also, I have two Certificates from the French Petroleum Institute IFP-France in Transport of Hydrocarbons, technical and economic aspects, and in pricing in a deregulated market.

I have 24 years of experience in the Oil & Gas at SONATRACH company, including more than 18 years as a Senior Executive where I held several supervisory and senior management positions, including:

-     Vice-president of the Procurement Commission;

-     HSE Director (Health, Safety and Environment) – Petrochemicals;

-     Director of Organization, Planning and Performance – Petrochemicals;

-     Director of Investment Project Monitoring;

-     Head of Concessions Department – ​​Operations Division;

-     Head of Marketing Department – ​​Planning Department.

Also, I have two (02) years experience, at the Hydrocarbons Regulatory Authority, reporting to the Ministry of Energy, as Director of Studies and Management of Transport Concessions.

As well as :

-     Director and Shareholder, member of the Board of Directors of the company SORFERT – Spa, for the production and marketing of Ammonia and Urea (ranked 1st non-hydrocarbon company in Algeria), period 2014-2020;

-     Director, member of the Board of Directors of the company ENASEL for the production of salt, part of the MANAL group, period 2015-2018.

Fascinated by my field, I am able to carry out technical-economic studies, optimizations and analyses, as well as project management in the field of hydrocarbon transport by pipeline, which allowed me to initiate, to create and manage, in particular:

-     Medgaz: direct gas pipeline linking Algeria to Spain;

-     Galsi: direct gas pipeline linking Algeria to Italy crossing Sardinia Island;

-     TSGP – TransSaharaGasPipeline, linking Nigeria to Algeria;

-     And, Camisea/Peru ; Sumed-Reverse flow/Egypt ; Ténéré/Niger ; Cleaner Mediterranean Pipeline.

My experience in steering, management and development of the transportation of hydrocarbons by pipeline projects, allowed me to participate in the most important achievements of SONATRACH in Algeria and internationally, through the construction of pipelines (Gas, LPG, Condensate and Crude oil) as well as hydrocarbon pumping and compression stations.

My leadership, analytical, organizational, planning and decision-making skills allowed me to very quickly occupy positions of higher responsibility at SONATRACH where I had to manage, in particular:

-     Strategic management of the development and operating (exploitation & maintenance) of the hydrocarbon pipeline transport network;

-     Monitoring and auditing structuring investment projects;

-     Planning and management of the operation, maintenance and HSE performance of petrochemical complexes;

-     The strategic framework for the development of petrochemicals in Algeria;

-     Control of company procurement;

-     The strategic framework for the development of the national integration project.

But also, my participation in the implementation of the medium and long-term development strategy for petrochemicals in Algeria with an investment budget of more than 40 billion US$, for objectives, the creation of wealth in the transformation by better valorization of hydrocarbons, notably through:

-     Mega complex of oil cracking in Skikda;

-     Mega complex for the production of methanol and derivatives in Arzew;

-     PDHPP production complexes in Bejaia and Arzew;

-     Rubber and tire production complexes in Bouira;

-     Production units MTBE (fuel additives), LAB and MAN.
