E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S (P R O J E C T M A N A G E M E N T):
• Preparation of Project Plan in line with the Yard requirements and monitoring of the plan to meet the schedule and updating
the same to management of regular basis.
• Coordinating with Estimation department and assisting with bid preparation for new building and Ship Repairs.
• Assisting in the preparation of quotation in compliance with all customer requirements and satisfaction.
• Attending Technical meeting (TNC) while quoting for the enquiries for new building and Ship Repairs.
• Co-ordination between all the departments and with vendor for the achievement of planned design and production.
• Coordinating with vendors for ordering and supplying of materials as per the technical specifications.
• Technically coordination with all the suppliers (Doors, Windows, Toilet Modules, Wall Panels etc.,) for the finalization and
supply of all outfitting items includes installation onboard.
• Preparation and Getting approval of basic design documents (Fire Load Calculation, Color Code for Furniture’s, Panels etc.,).
• Preparation of necessary documents for outsourcing/subcontracting the various activities related to the ongoing project.
• Monitoring and controlling of subcontracting activities and manpower utilization based of the project schedule and resource
requirements.
• Conduct internal QA/QC activities and coordinate the final inspection with client.
R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S (I N T E R I O R D E S I G N)
➢ Prepare detailed drawings of architectural design and master plans for passenger vessels, including
schematic design, design presentation, design construction development, construction
documentation/specification & construction administration by utilizing AutoCAD
➢ To ensure that all relevant documentation, software, operational manuals and plans required by the vessel
on delivery are available
➢ To monitor the construction of the vessels to ensure that the work in the shipyards follows the approved
drawings and specifications
➢ Cooperation with Classification Societies and with the shipyard during the construction of units in the field of
ship architecture and interior design.
➢ Having well versed knowledge of ship interior basic design drawings (Fire protection plan etc.,)
➢ Estimation of materials (Wall and Ceiling Panels, Flooring, Furniture etc.,)
➢ Fire load calculation for the materials used in Cabins
➢ Design of cabin furniture
➢ Cabin Layout design
➢ Wall and Ceiling Panel Layout for Cabins including principal plan
➢ Wall and Ceiling Panel Layout for Wet Spaces including Gutter Plan
➢ Ceiling Cutout Plan
➢ Principle plan for interior works (Walls, Ceilings, Flooring etc.,)
➢ Window/Door Cutout plan
