Hi,

My 1st role was an Application Engineer for an airconditioning company. There I was exposed to the technical and the financial side of the projects, dealing with proposals and quotations.

The next role is a Piping Designer and will assume this role from 2011 to last quarter of 2019, with various companies (Fluor, GHD & MHPS) and industires (Oil & Gas, Petrochem, water and coal fired plant). I used 3D and 2D softwares such as SP3D SPR, smart sketch, P3D, autocad, navisworks and microstation to produce deliverables such as 3D model, layout drawings, outline drawings, PID, PFD, pipng Iso drawings and Bill of materials. This role also equipped me to use / read and refer to international standards ASME, project standards and drafting instruction specific to an area.

After that, I got the chance to work in Singapore as a Desogn Engineer, from then on I will take alot of opportunities to work as a Mech Designer, Modeler and Piping using various softwares such as Cadworks, revit, autocad, Navisworks, OBD and microstation. Here I was given the chance to be involved in different projecf phases like proposal/ tendering, construction and as builting. I am able to work on site, see the actual installation /construction vs my model and drawings, tracing the discrepancy and absorbing better ideas for design. I also got the chance to directly coordinate with engineers , the project team, vendors, subcons and client.
