GENERAL EXPERIENCE Experienced lead process engineer and front-end development manager (FEDM) with 16+ years' experience in the oil and gas, refining and chemical industries in both EPC companies and operating plant environment. Previously, a process engineer and Front End Deliver Manager (FEDM) with Shell in the Philippines. Also worked in conceptual engineering for a Chevron Phillips affiliate in Saudi Arabia. Currently, the head of the process engineering team in Wood Brunei delivering process engineering support to projects for Brunei Shell Petroleum. Experienced in process engineering and design for brownfield and greenfield facilities in Philippines, Brunei and Saudi Arabia. Builds positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across different levels to meet objectives. • Leading multi-office process engineering teams to deliver support to various projects in various phases • Provide technical assurance (guidance, review and approval) of process engineering deliverables • Deliver projects throughout the life cycle of the Opportunity Realization Process (ORS for Shell) and the Chevron Project Development and Execution Process (CPDEP for Chevron) • Phase-gate project development (assessment of opportunity, project framing, alternative selection, scope definition, development and execution) • Deliver requirements and presentations to project decision review boards (DRB) for progressing to next stage • Project scoping and definition of alternatives • Write basis for design (BfD) documents and concept-select reports • Lead different engineering disciplines to produce a design package for project cost estimation. • Leading design reviews (P&IDs) and participating in HAZOP studies and action close-out • Process engineering studies and calculations • Equipment sizing and datasheet preparations for equipment and instrumentation • Write control philosophies and operating manuals • Vendor / technology search and technical bid evaluation of proposals for equipment, instrumentation and services • Training of graduate / junior process engineers • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. Shell DEPs, Chevron Engineering Standards, ISO, API and NFPA)
