Syed Amir Hamzah B.

As a recent graduate from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam under the course of Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Oil and Gas, I am eager to bring my multidisciplinary expertise across upstream, midstream and downstream operations. My proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Aspen Hysys, Microsoft Office, Matlab, Questor and Petrel E&P, coupled with my strong analytical and decision-making abilities. During my internship with Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd’s Development Project Directorate (DPD), I gained practical experience in gas quality evaluation, process control and field data management, contributing to key projects such as the Zero Emission Unconventional Power Station (ZEUS) initiative and the Sepat Project. At the same time, my academic journey allowed me to strengthen my research and problem-solving skills through my final year project on impacts of HPAM concentrations in ultralow salinity formation water for potential enhanced oil recovery application. I also broadened my technical and analytical capabilities through participation in the Field Development Plan (Sayong Field - BIGST) and was honoured to receive a Gold Medal for innovation of Multifunction Hexapod at the Virtual Asia Innovation Show (VAIS).
