I am a geoscientist specializing in subsurface characterization, reservoir modeling, and planetary geology. With over 15 years of experience spanning academia, industry, and research, I have contributed to major geoscientific projects across the USA, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand. currently serving at UTP-PETRONAS as Geoscientist-Sr Lecturer at Petroleum Geoscience Department. I have worked with Chevron, Weatherford, and some other intl organizations leading groundbreaking upstream projects and also R&D studies on CO₂ geological storage, seismic interpretation, and field development.
Until recently I have also been appointed as an Affiliate Scientist at the SETI Institute, where I am pioneering research on Martian craters using machine learning to uncover critical geological evidence. Recognized as Asia’s Most Promising Geoscientist (2023), having expertise extending to AI-driven geoscience applications, seismic hazard assessment, and energy transition strategies. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and consulted for government and industry stakeholders, including PETRONAS and the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan.
Holding a PhD in Reservoir Modeling from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, I continue to remain at the forefront of geoscience innovation, integrating cutting-edge computational techniques in addition to traditional geological methodologies.
