With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the offshore drilling industry—including recent senior roles with Valaris—I bring a deep operational understanding, proven leadership, and a commitment to safety and performance excellence.

During my time with Valaris, I was involved in the critical recovery of a jack-up rig following a blowout incident, playing a lead role in returning the asset to operational status for drilling activities in Indonesia. This complex and high-stakes project demanded both technical proficiency and calm, decisive leadership under pressure—qualities I’ve consistently demonstrated throughout my career.

In addition, I spent 12 months in Dubai as part of a capital projects team, where I contributed to the commissioning of two new jack-up drilling units. This experience involved collaboration with OEMs, system testing, and ensuring full readiness of NOV drilling packages, further strengthening my expertise in rig start-up, inspection, and operational compliance.

My career has included a steady progression from driller to OIM, and I hold a comprehensive range of current certifications including IWCF Level 4 Well Control, BOSIET, and a Liberian OIM Licence. I’ve worked across a variety of offshore rig types including semi-subs, drillships, and jack-ups, in regions such as Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

I am passionate about fostering safe, high-performing teams, and I take pride in mentoring crew members while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and client standards. Whether leading operations offshore or conducting independent rig inspections, I bring integrity, attention to detail, and a strong safety-first approach to every assignment.
