More than 35 years of experience in selection, engineering of mechanical equipment for onshore and offshore oil & gas, refinery projects, fertilizer projects, petrochemical projects, LNG projects and CCUS projects . Experience includes managing large local and international projects as Lead Engineer including involvement in field engineering, commissioning and site testing of large rotating equipment. Working as Principal (Lead) PMC Engineer for Petrochemical project coordinating the contractors on behalf of owner to ensure the execution fulfils the requirements of the owner. Worked as Lead (Principal) PMC Rotating Equipment Engineer on behalf of owner coordinating many contractors of different units of a complex Refinery cum Petrochemical Project, resolving technical issues and ensuring owner's interest are fulfilled by the contractors. Have been Technical Advisor for many offshore and offshore projects reviewing equipment selection and providing Value Engineering input to the projects. Have involved in the Green House Gas reduction projects Have handled major equipment including Centrifugal Compressors. Reciprocating Compressors, High power variable speed gearboxes, Steam turbines, Gas turbines, generators, high capacity pumps, cranes and other rotating equipment. Have participated in major HAZOP and IPF study workshop for major rotating equipment. Have participated in the preparation of conceptual reports and have prepared equipment selection reports for many offshore projects. Have guided team as Lead Engineer in execution of the large refinery and petrochemical projects, LNG projects and offshore projects supervising and ensuring team work in preparing equipment specification, datasheet, material requisition, scope of supply, technical bid evaluation, kick off meeting, vendor data review and coordination, witness factory acceptance test, installation and commissioning support. Have been involved in installation, startup and commissioning of Rotating Equipment for petrochemical plant and offshore projects. Familiar with international standards including API, ASME, ISO, NFPA, AS, etc. Familiar with Company design standards including DEP/PTS, Total GS, etc. Have worked in designing Columns, Pressure vessel and Shell and Tube and Air-Cooled heat exchangers.
