Project Description:
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a 1,443 km pipeline that transports oil from Uganda's Lake Albert oilfields to the port of Tanga in Tanzania. 80% of the pipeline runs through Tanzania. The project includes six pumping stations and a terminal and jetty at Tanga for loading oil onto tankers. EACOP is a $4 billion investment that aims to unlock Uganda’s natural resources, improve infrastructure, and provide economic benefits to both Uganda and Tanzania while adhering to high environmental and social standards.
Responsibilities:
- Package validation: managing anomalies and non-conformities
- Coordinating activities
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in the fields of Mécanic, Electricity, Civil Engineering
- Excellent command of English (mandatory)
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Participation in a large-scale international project
- Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Project Planning and Coordination: Expertise in project planning, scheduling, and coordinating multiple tasks and teams to meet project deadlines.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders
- Compliance and Risk Management: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to manage project risks and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
