Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital strategy aligned with project requirement.
- Lead Digital Team for Unified Engineering Tools (AVEVA E3D, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA PID, AVEVA Instrument, AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Integration System).
- Manage and mentor digital teams.
- To assume responsibility in preparing and ensuring the correctness of the E3D Specs catalogue for piping, mechanical and instrument valves items on every project based on information provided by Mechanical / Piping, Safety, instrument engineers and the project lead designers.
- To assume responsibility in preparing and ensuring E3D model and specs catalogue compatibility for project execution and completion.
- To take responsibility in providing, setting up the E3D review software and/or participating in the E3D model review with Client and other engineers covering a bird eye view and a walkthrough of the complete model.
- To take responsibility in preparing the clash check report covering all the discipline i.e. mechanical/piping, structural, and electrical and instrument sections in ensuring the model is clash free prior to Client submission.
- To be accountable and to assist the Manager, Mechanical Engineering and/or project lead designer in ensuring all technical problems brought up by E3D designer are resolved i.e. ensuring all E3D catalogue are up to date and the models are clash free.
- To maintain the company QA procedures and produce job instructions for specific tasks as required.
- To take responsibility in generating the piping MTO inclusive its delta MTO for further compilation by piping engineers prior to submission to Client.
- To take responsibility in the administration of Pipe Support Module and structural discipline BOCAD model input/import plus input model from Electrical and Instrument disciplines.
- To liaise with Client on specialist topics with respect to E3D.
- To maintain a detailed knowledge of all client’s requirements in relation to the E3D.
- To provide design documentation including E3D design clash reports for final submission to clients
- To assist with the preparation of man-hours estimates for the Mechanical portions of bids.
Qualification:
? Degree in any Engineering discipline / Computer Science and have about minimum 8 years of experience in Oil and Gas design engineering i.e. E3D Administration.
? Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) (optional)
? Management skill and experience is required.
? Having thorough working knowledge of codes, standard and practices applicable to the design, E3D Administration and design activities.
