Operation Manager (Coal Fired Power Plant) - Indonesia

Job Summary

Manages all aspects of operations of a coal fired power plant to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all plant equipment and operations.
2. Actively supports and emphasizes importance of safety programs and ensures regulatory compliance.
3. Promotes productivity and teamwork in Operations with open communication, timely decision making, and use of personal leadership skills to set high standards of performance.
4. Provides leadership to promote safe operations and maintenance.
5. Monitors plant and unit performance, conducts root cause analysis, and leads investigations to develop corrective actions.
6. Prioritizes maintenance direction for optimal plant availability / operation.
7. Coordinates unit load scheduling, testing, status, outage plans with management and offtaker PLN.
8. Ensures proper training is being provided to Plant Operators.
9. Manages the production budget for assigned plant and facility.
10. Provides leadership, direction and feedback in the management of employee performance, discipline, morale and employee relations.
11. Maintains communications with other departments.
12. Performs field inspections of job sites.
13. Recognizes problems and is proactive in helping to resolve them.
14. Coordinates emergency response efforts.
15. Manages activities associated with the staffing of the Production Department.
16. Develops and implements operational policies & procedures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Operated coal fired power plant with at least 300MW above.
3. At least 10 years working experience in power industry.
4. Strong organizational skills and capability of handling multiple assignments.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
6. Strong analytical skills.
7. Strong industry knowledge / experience.
