Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Apply international design codes & standards (API, ISO, ASME) and client specifications.
• Provide expertise in rotating equipment selection, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
• Conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE/TBT), review vendor data, and participate in FAT/shop testing.
• Support site technical queries (STQ), installation, and mechanical completion.
• Oversee material selection for various services (CO₂, sour, cryogenic, toxic).
• Prepare engineering deliverables: datasheets, specifications, MR/SR, calculations, and selection studies.
• Coordinate with piping, process, civil, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Contribute to HAZOP studies and ensure closure of action points.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering design experience with rotating equipment in onshore/offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge in hydraulics, thermodynamics, rotordynamics, and related areas.
• Experience with Green Hydrogen, Electrolyzer, or Carbon Capture Storage projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with vendor engagement, fabrication, and technical audits.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
