Main Accountabilities:
- Works closely with discipline manager / lead or project engineers/ designers and other discipline engineers in the delivery of pipeline drawings
- Manges the pipeline drafting team and ensures consistent world load and assigns responsibilities to the team and identify trainings.
- Identify and develop new techniques to improve efficiency and productivity of the team.
- Coordinate / interface with global offices and clients and project teams for pipeline design / drafting works.
- Maintain standard drawing templates and implement strict QAQC practices as per group quality standards / procedures.
- Provides quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support.
- Participate in quality audits and address the issues raised in the audits.
- Maintain and monitor drawing development progress.
- Meet project commitments and deliver to schedule.
- Identify and implement process improvement to reduce cycle time and cost.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Academic qualification of Diploma
- Minimum 10yrs. experience in offshore pipeline design / drafting work and should have led or in a key role for at least 2major pipeline FEED or detailed design projects, experience in onshore pipeline and subsea projects is added advantage.
- Hands on experience in AUTOCAD 2D & 3D for pipeline drawings, exposure to Inventor and GIS is preferable.
- Fluency in English and good communication skills.

- Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software.
- Full command of English language.
- Capable of self motivation and setting own work agenda on small fast track projects to meet schedule.
- Technical knowledge of advanced 2D and 3D design applications and processes
- Knowledgeable of codes, standards and regulatory guidelines that apply to the design disciplines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently with little guidance or supervision is required.
- Able to interface effectively with other disciplines and to provide deliverables to customer’s requirements.
- Knowledgeable of the interface points between design disciplines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are highly desirable.
