Scope of Work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the electrical team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiency.
  • Plan, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, power distribution, and control panels.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including IEC, ATEX, and hazardous area classifications.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and electrical schematics.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize electrical systems.
  • Ensure safe operation in explosive and high-risk environments following oil & gas safety standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians.


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas offshore/onshore projects.
  • Experience in handling high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
  • Prior leadership experience managing electrical teams.


Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • CompEx, IECEx, ATEX certification (for hazardous areas).
  • BOSIET, HUET, and Medical Certificate (if working offshore).
  • Knowledge of PTW (Permit to Work) systems and HSE regulations.


Software & Tools Knowledge:

  • Electrical system diagnostic tools and software.
  • SCADA, PLC, and automation systems (preferred).
