Scope of Work

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Composite Engineer/Material Engineer to join our dynamic team for an EPC project in France. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the development and application of composite materials, particularly within the energy sector.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and test composite materials for various applications within EPC projects, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and durability requirements.
  2. Oversee and manage the material engineering aspects of EPC projects, coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  3. Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance of composite materials under different conditions, utilizing advanced software tools and methodologies.
  4. Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure all composite materials meet the required industry standards and specifications.
  5. Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in composite material applications, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in material science and technology.
  6. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality composite materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
  7. Prepare comprehensive technical reports, documentation, and presentations for both internal stakeholders and clients, detailing material specifications, testing results, and project progress.
  8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.


Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline would be advantageous.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in composite material engineering within the energy or related industries. Experience with EPC projects is highly desirable.
  3. Proficiency in material characterization techniques, composite material design software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus), and knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of materials.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and contribute to the development of new composite materials and applications.
